LFG Houston is Houston sports and culture from the fans who live it. Houston raised. Houston made. Astros, Rockets, Texans, Dynamo, and the city that rides with them.
Who we are
We’re Houston raised. We grew up on these teams, in these stands, in this heat. This page is Houston made, built right here in H-Town, by fans, for fans. We’re not a national outlet dropping in when a Houston team makes the playoffs. We’re here every day, through the good years and the rough ones, watching the same games you’re watching.
What we cover
- Astros: the rotation, the lineup, the moves, and what it all means come October.
- Rockets: the young core, the rotation, and the road back to a title.
- Texans: game breakdowns, the draft, and the playoff picture.
- Dynamo: matchdays, the roster, and Houston soccer on the rise.
- College and high school: Houston Cougars, Rice, and the Friday-night talent this city keeps producing.
- Houston culture: gameday life, local spots, and the city behind the teams.
How we do it
Straight talk. Real takes. We check our facts, we tell you when something is opinion, and we don’t just reword what everybody else already posted. If we get something wrong, we fix it.
