Ye took over Houston on Halloween night. The artist formerly known as Kanye West performed at Reliant Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 31, and the Houston Chronicle reported a crowd of 80,210, a figure outlets described as a new U.S. stadium attendance mark for a rap concert.
Onstage, Ye acknowledged it himself: “We just broke the record. Biggest [rap] concert in U.S. history. Thank you, H-Town.”
Ye’s Reported Reliant Stadium Concert Record
The reported 80,210 tops the 74,000-plus fans per night Ye drew at SoFi Stadium in April, according to HotNewHipHop. It also edges the 80,203 the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo listed for Cody Johnson’s concert-only event at the same stadium on March 22, 2026.
As of Sunday, the number had not been confirmed by the venue, the promoter or Billboard Boxscore.
Inside the Ye Houston Concert: On Top of the World
Ye spent the nearly three-hour show atop a half-sphere designed to look like Earth, surrounded by lasers, lights and pyrotechnics.
The setlist mixed new songs from his 2026 album Bully, including “King” and “Father,” with career-spanning hits like “Stronger,” “Paris” and “All Falls Down,” plus “American Boy” with Estelle.

Playboi Carti, North West and an H-Town Shoutout
Playboi Carti joined Ye for several songs, and his daughter North West also appeared onstage. Ye shouted out Houston native Mike Dean, part of the city’s deep H-Town rap legacy, who produced on several of his albums.
It was Ye’s first Houston performance since 2019, when he brought his Sunday Service to Lakewood Church and performed for inmates at the Harris County Jail.
